Our first Shetland summer…

posted in: Uncategorised | 0

The summer here is nearly over, the leaves on the few trees we have are starting to turn, holidaymakers are fewer in number and the summer birds are disappearing and are slowly being replaced by the over wintering geese. We have had a great summer on Shetland, the highlights were seeing the Puffins at Sumburgh Head and the Red Necked Phalarope on Fetlar. We are already planning for next summer and have a big list of outdoor jobs that need doing. During the winter we will be carrying out work on our workshop to try and make it more pleasant for visitors, first though we need to make more stock for the Christmas craft fairs. Don’t forget you can contact us via email, Facebook and instagram, the links are on this page. All the best Richard.
